Terry McNally, of Fort McMurray AB, contacted Armor Inc. after purchasing a 2010 Jeep Rubicon from a local dealership in Red Deer, AB. Terry met with the staff at Armor Inc. and explained what he had in mind for his new Jeep; he had big ideas for making his new truck withstand the highways of Alberta, but also endure the trails of Moab, Utah.
Armor Inc. started with the suspension, swapping out the old suspension for a 4.5” Suspension lift from Rubicon Express and then added BF Goodrich 37” tires mounted on a set of XD Rockstar Rims. This gave Terry extra clearance space to install new Rock Crawler Series’ Fender Flares making climbing the hills of Utah all that much more easier. With these new modifications, Terry took his truck out to see what this beast of a Jeep could handle on and off the road.
After a few months time, the time to install the front & rear bulletproof bumpers came; Terry mentioned of installing some superchargers, he explained that after researching supercharger products he came across a set that would be perfect. Armor Inc contacted RIPP Supercharger, of Staten Island, NY and ordered a kit for Terry, set a date for install with a quote time of 8 hours.
Armor Inc. took the 2010 Jeep Rubicon on the dyno to measure the current RWHP and compare it after. With some fine tuning Armor Inc. was able to get 240RWHP from the Jeep and compared it with the before RWHP of 150RWHP, this was a huge jump and knew this Jeep was ready to hit the hills.
